Ele é um menino feliz, sorridente, já faz gracinhas, imita o irmão mais velho e completa hoje 1 ano de vida. 

Parabéns meu amor. Que sejas sempre muito feliz. 

Update

Eu gostaria de vos escrever com mais frequência mas a verdade é que mudar de país é uma aventura (no bom sentido da palavra) mas não é uma caminhada fácil. 

Nos adaptarmos a uma série de coisas novas é tão enriquecedor da alma quanto cansativo para o corpo. 

Além disso, demoramos algum tempo até nos sentirmos "em casa". Até que isso aconteça parece que vivemos uma espécie de limbo onde stamos muito felizes por estarmos na direcção que escolhemos e às vezes muito tristes porque sentimos falta da nossa casa, das nossas coisas e sobretudo das nossas pessoas. 

Por isso mesmo, não tenho escrito tanto quanto gostaria. 

São muitas coisas que ainda não estão assentes, os meus tempos ainda não estão sincronizados e muito menos o meu espaço. 

Mas, apesar de tudo, continuo muito entusiasmada com a mudança e determinada a seguir o meu instinto. E mais ainda surpreendida como já estamos em Novembro e como 2016 parece estar já ali no virar da esquina. 

ENG: I would like to write to you more often but the truth is that changing from one country to another is awesome but it's a long and hard journey. 

We have to adapt ourselves to a number of new things and as much as this can be a great experience for the soul it can be very hard on your body. 

Besides that it takes a while before you feel like you're at home. Until that happens it looks like we live in a limbo where we can feel very happy to be where you chose to be and very sad because we miss our house, our things and above all our favourite people. 

So that's why I haven't been here as much as I want. 

There is so many things that are still missing, my time is not at all organized the way I want and even less my space. 

But, I'm still very excited about this change e very determined to follow my instinct. Well, and I am truly amazed about how November is here and 2016 seems to be just around the corner. 

The Intern

Quando vi a apresentação deste filme tive logo um bom pressentimento. 2 bons actores, uma história actual, achei logo que era um daqueles filmes que não parecem nada mas talvez não seja bem assim. Finalmente consegui assistir o filme e não me enganei. Bom filme, bom argumento, DeNiro é o melhor. Consegue ser tudo. E obriga-nos a olhar para a nossa sociedade e ver que o futuro é bom mas não devemos esquecer o passado e como as coisas foram construídas. Tudo e todos têm o seu valor.
Recomendo.

ENG:When I saw the trailer for this movie I had a feeling it was going to be good. Good actors, good history, I immediatly though that it would be a movie that nobody would give any credit and in the end it was really good. Finally watch it and I was not mistaken. Good movie, good script, DeNiro is the best. He can do anything. And makes us look at our society e make us understand that the future is good but we shouldn't forget about the past and how things were built. Everything and everybody are important. Go and see it!

Happy Halloween!

Não sou grande fã do Halloween. Muito provavelmente porque nem no Brasil nem em Portugal se comemore o Halloween. Aliás nunca entendi muito bem de onde vem essa tradição. A tradição mexicana até faz algum sentido porque comemoram o dia dos mortos. E é sempre bom relembrar com carinho quem já nos deixou. Melhor ainda quando é comemorado com festa. 

Mas por aqui o Halloween é assunto sério. No ínicio do mês já havia máscaras por todo o lado, abóboras, algumas decorações tímidas. Ao longo do mês, ouvimos as pessoas a prepararem o Halloween. Comprar fatos, decidir onde ir, decorar a casa, comprar doces. Não é uma tradição que me diga muito mas hoje, ao fim da tarde, os miúdos começaram a bater a porta a peder "Trick or treat?" e foi inevitável pensar que afinal, para eles até é giro. Um miúdo apareceu vestido de mágico, fez um truque de cartas em troca de gomas. Não é tão giro? 

Os vizinhos se conhecem, andam em grupos com as crianças e por todo lado podemos encontrar vampiros, caçadores de fantasmas, bruxas, malévolas e até Harry Potters. 

Vida nova, novas tradições, por isso...Happy Haloween! 

ENG: I'm not a big fan of Halloween. Probably it's because we don't celebrate it in Brazil or Portugal. In fact I never really understood Halloween. I always knew the mexican tradition, to celebrate the day of the deads witch even makes a litlle sense for me. It's always good to remember those who are no longer with us. Better yet if you remind them with a party. 

Around here Halloween is taken very seriously. In the beginning of October we could see costumes everywhere, pumpkins and some decorations. Throughout the month we could see people getting ready for Halloween, making arrangements for today. Buying costumes, deciding where to go, decorating house entry's and buying sweets. It's not a day the says a lot to me but today, at the end of the day, the kids started knocking at our door whit the famous "Trick or treat?" and it was inevitable to think that that was cute. A kid show up at our door dressed as magician and made some magic tricks before asking for some candy. How cute is that? 

Neighbors that konw each other walking around in large groups with the kids and everywhere we go we can see vampires, ghostbuster, witches and even Harry Potters. 

New life, new traditions so...Happy Halloween!
