Fim de semana #8

Mais um Domingo. Sinto que repito isto todas as semanas. Prometo que vou parar. Mais uma semana muito agitada no trabalho. Sem parar um minuto durante o dia. Várias promessas de chegar em casa, ler um pouco, ver um filme, escrever ou fotografar algo e que acontece na realidade sou eu mesma esparramada no sofá a pensar em mil coisas e a realizar nada. Prometo parar com isto também. 

Ah! Minto. Esta semana inscrevi-me num Workshop gratuito, das meninas do Tudo Orna. Se me seguem no Instagram (@louisemenezes - go and show some love!) podem ter visto que o propósito do Workshop é dar-nos uma visão geral sobre como posicionar sua marca na era digital. Este é um assunto que me interessa bastante, não só porque tenho este blog mas porque também é algo que penso muito em relação à vida. 

Estas questões sobre a razão pela qual estamos aqui, qual a marca que queremos deixar no mundo, estamos no caminho certo, para onde vamos e como vamos sempre pairam pela minha cabeça. Sou um bocadinho inquieta em relação a isto tudo que se passa a nossa volta e que é a vida. Por isso mesmo este pequeno Workshop valeu muito a pena! Excelente iniciativa dessas meninas super empreendedoras. Gostei muito, valeu a pena dispensar algum tempo para me dedicar a aprender coisas novas, ouvir novas ideias, mudar o meu mindset para algumas coisas que acontecem a nossa volta. 

A verdade é que a vontade de estudar e o gosto por saber mais é algo que trago desde sempre e procuro não deixar que esse desejo esmoreça dentro de mim. Às vezes esmorece mas a vida é assim, com altos, baixos e alguns desvios e cabe a nós voltar ao trilho original ou não. 

O fim de semana foi como sempre muito bom, bem focado em aproveitar o restinho de bom tempo por aqui e também para ver algumas coisinhas que precisamos organizar para o futuro próximo. 

Agora já estou de volta a casa, colocando no papel algumas ideias e enlouquecendo pelo Pinterest com muita inspiração de home decor. 

Além disso, hoje completa 2 anos que chegamos a Inglaterra. Que linda jornada tem sido.

Another Sunday has come. I fell I repeat myself a lot every week. I promise that I will stop doing that. Another very busy week at work, one of those weeks that I can’t really stop throughout the day otherwise I can’t get things done. Every day I say to myself that I will read more or watch a movie but honestly nothing really happens. I just get home and all I do is procrastinate on my sofa. I promise that I will stop doing that as well. 

Ah, but actually I’m lying. This week I have dedicated myself to do a Workshop from the girls of Tudo Orna blog. If you follow me on Instagram (@louisemenezes - go and show some love!) you may already seen what the workshop is all about. It gives us a general idea of branding and how you should position yourself on social media. Very interesting subject not only because of this blog but also because I think about this a lot concerning life itself. 

The reason why we are here, what legacy do we want to leave to our kids, are we on the right track, where are we going and how are we are planing to get where we want to be is always something that running around my thoughts. 

The Workshop was great, I think it was a brilliant idea from this very smart girls. It was really good to have dedicated some time to learn new things and change my mindset for somethings that are happening at the moment. 

The truth is I love knowing more about all kinds of subjects, I always have and I try to not let this desire for more to fade away. Sometimes it happens but I will promise that I will try to avoid that from happening as well. Life has some bumps in the way but at the end it is up to us to get back on track and be happy whit what we have. 

The weekend was as usual very good, we are trying to enjoy the last days with some sun around here and now I’m just home organising a few things and getting a bit crazy on Pinterest with all the inspiration for home decor. 

And to end this post, today marks 2 years that I have arrived in the UK. What a great journey so far.
